Ater Majok

Trefl Sopot of Poland’s TBL has acquired the services of Sudanese big man, Ater Majok (208 cm, Connecticut’10) for the upcoming season. In December 2014 Ater signed with the Los Angeles D-Fenders (USA-D-League). He played 23 games for them before departing the team in February 2015. During his run Majok was able to put together averages of 5.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg. He was most notable for his impact on the defensive end, garnering averages of 2.8 blocks per game.

In 2013/14 he played a dozen games in Korea’s KBL where he suited up for KCC Egis and averaged 6.7 ppg and 4.3 rpg. Ater briefly moved to TTL Taiwan Beer and eventually settled in with German club BG Goettingen (Germany-Pro A) and there he posted averages of 4.5 ppg and 3.4 rpg.
