Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem from Israel’s Winner league has added Belarusian big man Artsiom Parakhouski (210 cm, Radford’10) for the upcoming 2013-14 season. Parakhouski has been a member of the Belarusian National Team in 2008 and 2010-2013. In six games in the 2013 European Championships Artsiom averaged 12.2 ppg and 8.2 rpg.
He played the 2012-13 season in Turkey, bolstering the frontcourt of Olin Edirne Basketball. In 30 games in the Turkish league, Parahouski netted averages of 12.1 ppg and 6.5 rpg. At only 25, he has already played in a number of international leagues, seeing action in the Ukraine, Italy and Latvia aside from the aforementioned Turkey.
