Former NBA forward Arnett Moultrie (208 cm, Mississippi State’12) has agreed to terms with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Lebanon-Division A) and will strengthening their roster this 2015-16 season. The 25-year-old Moultrie is making his way there after finishing the 2014-15 season on the roster of the Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing (China-CBA), where he played 16 games and averaged 24.4 ppg and 12.1 rpg. He headed in December 2014 after being released by the New York Knicks. He began the season on the roster of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Moultrie was often criticized for his lack of conditioning and was only sparingly used by the Sixers in 2013-14. He played a dozen games for them and averaged 3.0 ppg and 2.9 rpg. He spent some time in the D-League with their sister team, the Delaware 87ers and there he averaged 10.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg in eight games.
