Arnar Gudjonsson released from Aarhus

Arnar Gudjonsson has been fired as head coach of BC Aarhus (Denmark-Ligaen) after the club started the season with a 5-11 record and are sitting in seventh place in the Ligaen. Along with Gudjonsson, the team’s General Manager, Allan Foss, was released. The duo have worked together for three seasons, starting with Aabyhøj Basketball in 2009-2010, which is the club that BC Aarhus came from when founded in July of 2012. Gudjonsson has also been an assistant coach with the Danish U20 National Team and the Icelandic U18 National Team. He was a coach assistant in the Danish League All-Star Game in 2011.
