Antwan Scott leaves New Heroes Den Bosch

Antwan ScottAntwan Scott (188 cm, Colorado State’16) is leaving Dutch team New Heroes Den Bosch. Scott performed very well in the Dutch Basketball League and averaged 20.6 ppg along with 5.5 aspg. However, the coaching staff felt that he was more of a shooting guard than a point guard. When Den Bosch recently signed Steve McWorther (188cm, Wisconsin’15) from the French Pro B team Poitiers, it was evident that he would be the point guard and Antwan Scott would move to the two spot. Scott did not feel comfortable with this and came to a mutual decision with the team that it was best for him to leave. This was Antwan Scott’s first professional contract. In his senior year in college at Colorado State,  he played 32 games and averaged 16.3 ppg and 4.3 rpg. He helped his team reach the MWC Tournament semifinals in 2016. That same year Scott was named to the NABC All-District 17 2nd Team as well as the All-MWC 2nd Team.
