Antonio Barton (188 cm, Tennessee’14) was hoping to begin his professional career with SK Cherkasy Monkeys from Ukraine’s Superleague this 2014-15. The team brought him on in a try-out basis and allowed him to play in friendly pre-season tournaments. Unfortunately for Barton, despite putting up some decent preseason numbers, was cut by the team. They are looking for someone else who would better suit the team’s needs at this time. In 2013-14, Barton’s senior year at Tennessee he averaged 7.5 ppg and 2.1 apg, helping his team reach the NCAA Sweet 16 and the SEC Tournament semifinals in 2014.
