Antoine Young (182 cm, Creighton’12) has signed in the Netherlands with ZZ Leiden. He replaces Tony Gallo (180 cm, Coppin State’12). Gallo played 21 games for Leiden and averaged 8.5 ppg. Antoine Young does not have much more experience, since he also graduated in 2012. However, he has played for more teams. Since the start of this season Leiden will be Antoine Young’s third professional team after Geneva Lions (Switzerland) and Lechugueros de Leon from Mexico. While playing college basketball for Creighton Antoine Young averaged 12.1 ppg and 4.4 aspg in the MVC. Leiden was the Dutch champion in 2011 and is currently also on top of the standings with a 18-4 record.
