Andrzej Adamek announced as new Prokom coach

Andrzej Adamek has been announced as the new head coach of Asseco Prokom Gdynia (Poland-TBL), following the firing of Kestutis Kemzura. Adamek played professionally, primarily in Poland, for 19 seasons, including being a member of the U22 Polish National Team in 1992-93 and then the Polish National Team from 1995-97. He started his coaching career with Gornik Walbrzych in 2004 as a player/coach, moving into strictly coaching in 2005. He was an assistant with ASCO Slask Wroclaw (Poland-DBL) as well as having spent the last four seasons as an assistant with Asseco Prokom Gdynia, where he was until Sunday morning when the club promoted him to the top spot for the remainder of the 2012-13 season. Prokom has been ousted from Euroleague competition, but are 7-3 in Polish TBL competition, where they are the defending league champions.

    I always noted that Kemzura cannot coach at no level, maybe some U14-U16 teams inside Lietuva.
