Andrei Kirilenko reunites with CSKA Moscow

Andrei Kirilenko

After recently being waived by the Philadelphia 76ers, Russian-American Andrei Kirilenko (206) is returning to Europe. He is reuniting with former club CSKA Moscow (Russia-VTB). Hampered by injuries, AK47 was only able to play seven games for the Brooklyn Nets in 2014/15, before being traded to the Sixers. He barely saw any action, averaging just five minutes per game and 0.4 ppg and 1.1 rpg.  He last played for CSKA Moscow in 2011/12, leading them to a Euroleague Finals appearance as well as a VTB United League championship. While he may not be in the same shape he was back then, his experience and leadership will be a huge boon for the club this season.
