Amar’e Stoudemire joins Hapoel Jerusalem

Amar'e Stoudemire Amar’e Stoudemire (211 cm) recently announced his retirement from the NBA, but the big man is not done with basketball just yet. He now embarks on a fresh adventure, writing a new chapter of his career with Hapoel Jerusalem (Israel-Winner League). At 33 years of age, does STAT have anything left in the tank? Stoudemire seems to think so. In his final season in the NBA, Amar’e played 61 games for the Miami Heat and averaged 5.4 ppg and 3.9 rpg. While those numbers are a far cry from his career averages of 18.9 ppg and 7.8 rpg, he should still be able to make an impact for his new team.
