Ali Traore released by Kuban

Ali Traore (207 cm, South Idaho JC) has been released by Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-PBL) after two games, one in the Russian PBL where he scored four points; and one in the VTB United League, where contributed 10 points and five rebounds. He played the 2011-12 season with Kuban as well, averaging 11.8ppg in 21 VTB United League games and 15.3ppg in the EuroCup, finishing third on the scoring average leader board. He also finished third on the rebound board, averaging 7.1rpg. Traore has played multiple seasons for the French National Team, including being a member of their squad that competed at the 2012 London Olympics. Traore has returned to Paris so he can complete the rehab on the knee he injured this summer.
