Alhaji Mohammed
Alhaji Mohammed (192 cm, Louisville’04) has departed Blancos de Rueda Valladolid (Spain, ACB) and will now play with CSU Asesoft Ploiesti (Romania, Liga Nationala). The 32-year old guard had started the 2012-2013 season with Valladolid but with the team continuing to go through financial difficulties the player and club decided to terminate his contract. The agreement was reached through mutual consent.

During his 18 games this season with Valladolid, Alhaji Mohammed recorded averages of 4.2ppg and 0.4rpg. The Ghanian/American will now join up with a Ploiesti team that sits seventh in the Liga Nationala standings in Romania. The team is boasting a 14-7 record for the season. Ploiesti is the most succesful Romanian club, having won eight out of the last nine Championships. Mohammed has previously played in Holland, Germany, Kuwait, France, and the USA.
