Alexey Savrasenko signs on with Lokomotiv Kuban

Alexey SavrasenkoAlexey Savrasenko has agreed to join Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-PBL) for the upcoming season. Savrasenko (2.15m) played for Unics Kazan (Russia-PBL) last season and averaged 5.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game over 21  PBL contests. He also competed in 35 Euroleague games where he accounted for 3.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

Savransenko also played for the Russian National Team from 2001 through 2008, including a trip to the Beijing Olympics in 2008. During his five games at the Olympics he averaged 10.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

    “Played” is too good word for that log, but his progress early 2000 is far the best. He couldn’t move with or without ball when he was in Greece.
