Alex Renfroe switches to Bayern Munich

Alex Renfroe (190 cm, Belmont’09) is making a switch to German BBL finalists Bayern Munich (Eurocup) for the 2014/2015 season. The American is actually heading to Bavaria from Bayern’s rival Bundesliga club ALBA Berlin, where he spent the 2014/2015 season. He played in both the league and Euroleague last season and helped ALBA reach the Last 16 in the latter.

Over 39 games in the BBL, Alex Renfroe logged 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game, while in 24 Euroleague contests he logged 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per appearance.

The point guard also holds a Bosnian passport and has bags of experience in Europe, having suited up in Spain, Russia, Italy, Latvia, and Croatia.
