Alex Acker joins Boulazac for 2 months

Alex Acker (196 cm, Peppperdine’05) has joined the roster at Boulazac Basket Dordogne (France, Pro A) on a two month contract. 29-year old guard Acker is known for his close control and effectiveness, which he will be bringing to Boulazac for the next 8 weeks as the team attempts to lift itself off the bottom of the Pro A League.

During the first half of this season, Alex Acker played with Asseco Prokom Gdynia (Poland, TBL) but he left the financially restricted club in December. Throughout his 8 games with Prokom Gynia, Acker averaged 8.1ppg, 0.6rpg, and 1.4apg. The American can also boast NBA game time, having played with the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2008-2009 season.
