Ales Pipan to coach Union Olimpija

Union Olimpija Ljubljana from Slovenia’s Telemach league wants a turnaround from last season’s performance. They think Ales Pipan will be the one who can make it happen for them as their new head coach. The ball club is hoping that his experience in Macedonia can bring a fresh perspective and direction for the team.

Pipan is coming off a very successful one-season stint with KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom from Macedonia’s Prva Liga. In 2013 Pipan became head coach of the FYR Macedonian National Team. He also led MZT Skopje to finish the season as the Macedonian Cup Winners. In the Prva Liga he steered the team to become the Macedonian League Regular Season Champions and the Macedonian League Champions.
