Giorgio Tesi Group Pisotia (Italy-Serie A) has agreed to a short-term deal with Aleksander Czyz (201 cm, Nevada’12) who is coming in as a replacement for an injured Marcus Thornton. Aleksander is a 25-year-old Polish player who has been a member of the Polish national team since 2013. He played the 2014/15 preseason with Enel Brindisi (Italy-Serie A), but in January 2015 landed a deal to play for PGE Turow Zgorzelec (Poland-TBL). He played seven games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 3.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg. Aleksander was also able to play 27 games in the domestic Polish league and there he notched averages of 6.9 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
