Aleksandar Yanev Georgiev (203 cm) will be strengthening the roster of KK Zadar (Croatia-A1) this 2017. He is a 26-year-old Bulgarian player who has been a member of the Bulgarian national team since 2009. This will be the third team he will be playing for this 2016-17. Aleksandar started the season with Cherno More Ticha (Bulgaria-NBL). In eight games he managed to produce averages of 19.4 ppg and 8.3 rpg. In December he headed to KK Kozuv Gevgelija (FYR Macedonia-Prva Liga). In his single Balkan league game Georgiev scored five points and grabbed two rebounds. He also played three games in the Macedonian league and there Aleksandar averaged 16.3 ppg and 5.7 rpg.
