Aleksandar Marelja (203 cm) has been brought in to strengthen the front-line options at Sevilla (Spain, Liga Endesa) this season. The Serbian player has most recently been playing for Mega Leks in his homeland and in the FIBA Basketball Champions League. Over ten Adriatic League games Aleksandar Marelja secured averages of 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
The power forward started the 2016/2017 season playing for Vrsac in the Serbian KLS, and averaged 18.2 points and 7.0 boards over eleven impressive games.
Marelja has played briefly in Liga Endesa before, representing Murcia over two games in 2013. His other stations have been in Belgium and Macedonia.
