Nigerian big man Akinlolu Akingbala (208 cm, Clemson’06) is the latest reinforcement to Enel Brindisi’s frontcourt (Italy-SerieA) this 2013-14 season. The 30-year-old was a member of the Nigerian National Team in 2009.

He had a short 2012-13 season, playing only two games for Azovmash Mariupol from Ukraine’s Superleague. He only averaged five minutes on the court, managing just 1.0 ppg and 0.5 rpg.

In 2011-12 he played for SLUC Nancy Basket Pro from France’s ProA. He played eight games for them in the EuroChallenge and he was able to hit averages of 12.0 ppg and 6.9 rpg. In 35 games in the French ProA he averaged 12.2 ppg and 7.8 rpg.
