Aapeli Alanen signs with Brno

Aapeli Alanen (201 cm, F) has left Kataja. He has signed in the Czech Republic’s NBL with Mmcite 1 Basket Brno. Kataja just lost the quarter-final series in the Finnish PlayOffs, and that ended Alanen’s season. It didn’t take him long to find a new team. He averaged 13.6 ppg and 5.6 rebounds in 24 games for Kataja, where he also played last season.

Aapeli Alanen, 25 years old, will play outside of Finland for the first time. He joins a Brno team with a 14-14 record that sits in 5th place.

Alanen also plays for the Finnish national team.
