Zoran Planinic parts ways with Khimky

Zoran Planinic (192 cm) will not be playing for BC Khimky Moscow Region (Russia-PBL) this upcoming 2013-14 season. Planinic, who is Croatian-Bosnian, joined Khimky in 2010.

In 2012-13 he averaged 11.4 ppg and 5.5 apg in 24 games in the VTB United League and 12.4 ppg and 6.3 apg in 22 games in the Euroleague. This 2013 Khimky reached as far as the VTB United League semifinals. Playing in the Russian League he posted averages of 12.5 ppg and 4.8 apg.

In 2011-12 he averaged 13.2 ppg and 4.4 apg in 19 games in the Russian League. In 15 games in VTB League he came up averaging 10.1 ppg and 5.2 apg.
