Zadar players strike

Croatian and Adriatic team KK Zadar is is facing a difficult situation as its players have decided to go on strike. The club still owes several players salaries from last season. The board of the club is not unsympathetic to the action of the players, as many of them have not gotten paid for a long time either. Zadar has its first game on the 29th of September in the Adriatic league in Belgrade against Partizan. All this now puts extra pressure on the main sponsor of the club which is the city of Zadar.

Balkan stories…you can not owe 4-5 salaries to the domestic players and then sign too bullshit expensive Americans who “must” be paid…Now domestic players from Zadar must sit on a bench without being paid for 6-7 months and watch Americans being paid..Zadar management made another idiotic decision.
