Von Wafer (196 cm, Florida State’05) is making his way back to China this 2014, signing with Shanxi Zhongyu (CBA). He began the season playing for the Shanghai Dongfang Sharks. He had a productive run with the Sharks, averaging 27.0 ppg and 6.6 rpg. In January 2014 Wafer went back stateside to join the Bakersfield Jam (D-League). In five games the guard posted averages of 14.6 ppg and 1.8 rpg. The next month he moves to Europe where he joined the Russian club Krasny Oktyabr, where he averaged 21.2 ppg and 4.7 rpg in six games in the VTB league. In his last stop, before landing with Shanxi Zhongyu, Wafer played for the Indios de Mayaguez (Puerto Rico-BSN). He delivered averages of 24.7 ppg and 4.6 rpg.
