Viktor Keyru released by Sparktak

Victor KeyruViktor Keyru (1.98m) has been released from his contract for the 2012-13 season by Sparktak St. Petersburg (Russia-PBL). Keyru had signed a two-year deal at the start of the 2011-12 season, but the squad decided that it was best for the team to part ways. Keyru averaged 5.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in the EuroCup and 5.0 points per game in the VTB last season.

    According to Russian press there will be a court case as Keyru states that the contract break was initiated by Spartak with violation of rights of player and agreement itself. Spartak GM tries to play everything is OK and that Keyru is in charge, but it all smells bad.

    According to European press it’s gonna be a big riot in the court about this release as the player states it has a lot of dirty background and violations.
