Union College bags first NAIA II title

The Union College Bulldogs have a lot to be excited about right now. The school has just made history by capturing its first-ever NAIA Division II national championship. They defeated Cornerstone (Michigan) in the finals, 72-69.

They capped off a stellar run this season, finishing 35-3, and were a force to be reckoned with among all NAIA division schools. They went on a 33-game winning streak and rode their momentum all the way to the top.

Paul Stone was awarded the Most Valuable Player award, after dropping 26 points and nine rebounds in the contest.
