Underdog Kalev shocks CSKA Moscow in VTB League

Estonian team Kalev/Cramo caused a major upset in the VTB League by beating Russian team CSKA Moscow with 67-56. It was the first loss of CSKA in the VTB League this season. Furthermore, Kalev/Cramo had lost three of the first VTB games this season, and nobody gave them a chance against CSKA. But, in the end, David beat Goliath.

It was Kalev’s first victory against CSKA in Estonia for 30 years! The last home win of Kalev over CSKA took place on May 6, 1991. That season, the Estonian team became USSR champion.
