Antonio Houston (6’5”-G/F-88, college: Catawba) erupted for 33 points in the victory. He was named the tournaments MVP. PrimeTime Players pulled ahead in the opening quarter. They fired 29 points to take a 9-point lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the second frame. PrimeTime Players arrived at halftime 55:46 at the interval. The Players consolidated the lead in the third quarter. They unleashed impressive 43 points in the stanza to ensure a 25-point lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Donald Rutherford (6’7”-F-87, college: Catawba) provided 21 points, while Malachai Jones and Jaime Vaughn (6’2”-G, college: Wingate) produced 16 points each in the victory. John Moore answered with 20 points for Cary Invasion. Brock Young (5’11”-G-88, college: E.Carolina) had 19 points in the loss.
