Travis Nelson extends with BK Pardubice

Travis Nelson (208 cm, Minnesota State’10) will be joining BK JIP Pardubice from the Czech Republic’s NBL for one more season. Nelson got a contract extension from the team thanks to a reasonably productive 2012-13 season. The 26-year-old big man played 42 games for them and averaged 12.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg. In 2013 BK Pardubice reached the Czech Republic League semifinals and the Czech Republic Cup finals.

Nelson played the 2011-12 season for KK Sentjur from Slovenia’s Telemach league and averaged 17.5 ppg and 6.8 rpg. He later moved to Al Wasl Dubai from the United Arab Emirates in May 2012.
