The start of the Greek basketball league is delayed

The Greek basketball league A1 was supposed to start this weekend but has been delayed by a week. This decision was taken unanimously, 48 hours before tip-off, by the HEBA board of directors (Hellenic Basketball Federation). The reason is not only the COVID-19 situation (Lavrio just reported that several players tested positive) but also because the HEBA had not yet granted Charilaos Trikoupis Mesologiou the necessary license to participate. That problem has now been solved.
