Team World wins in NBA Africa Exhibition Game

NBA Africa Team World bested Team Africa 108-97 in the NBA Africa exhibition game held over the weekend in Johannesburg, South Africa. The game was in support of UNICEF and the Nelson Mandela Foundation. The game was the culminating event that capped off a series of basketball camps as part of the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders program. NBA coaches and players conducted various clinics and made themselves available to the growing fan base of the sport in Africa. This is the second exhibition game and the second win for Team World.

Victor Oladipo of the Indiana Pacers took home the game’s MVP honors as he dropped 28 points for the night. Andre Drummond scored 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Emmanuel Mudiay of the Democratic Republic of Congo posted a well-rounded game for Team Africa with 22 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds.
