Tanner Smith, signed by Neckar RIESEN

Tanner Smith (195 cm, Clemson’12) will be playing in Germany’s BBL this 2013-14 for Neckar RIESEN Ludwigsburg. The 23-year-old Smith played his rookie season as a pro for Landstede Basketbal Zwolle from the Netherlands’ Eredivisie this 2012-13.

Smith produced some solid numbers, averaging 18.2 ppg and 5.1 rpg in 38 games in the Dutch league. Tanner helped Zwolle win the Dutch Cup in 2013.

In his senior year at Clemson Tanner averaged 11.2 ppg and 5.1 rpg in 31 games. He was selected as part of the Division I Academic All-District 4 Team in 2012.
