FC Barcelona Lassa (Spain-Liga Endesa) has found a new head coach to take the helm of the team. They hired 69-year-old Serbian coach Svetislav Pesic to handle the head coaching duties. While this may be the first time for Pesic to coach a Spanish club in a long time, he brings with him a wealth of international coaching experience. He has been the head coach of FC Bayern Muenchen (Germany-BBL) since 2012, guiding them to a German League championship in 2014.

His hiring hopefully brings some stability and vision for a club that has been reeling in disarray since the end of the 2016-17 season. Pesic will be able to set a new context for the team and possibly provide guidance and direction moving forward.
