Suns to Host Military Appreciation Night

Phoenix Suns

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Phoenix Suns will pay tribute to military veterans and active duty personnel during Military Appreciation Night on Monday, November 12, when the team hosts the Denver Nuggets at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The special evening will serve as a launch to a season-long Suns’ Military Appreciation initiative which will offer discounted tickets to military personnel for any Suns home game, while supplies last.

Great seats are available starting at $15 and can be purchased at Suns.com/military.

Those who purchase will need to show a valid military ID when picking up their tickets at the US Airways Center box office.

In a special salute to those who have served, Suns ticket holders seated courtside (in the first row) have donated their tickets to Monday’s game to be used by uniformed members of our military.

“It is important that we honor the men and women of our United States military for their service and commitment to our country,” said Suns President, Jason Rowley. “It is ultimately their sacrifice and dedication to our freedom that offers us the opportunity to enjoy Suns basketball here at US Airways Center.”

Monday’s celebration will highlight active duty military personnel and veterans throughout the evening, including participation in the national anthem and Suns player introductions, inclusion in a number of in-game activities and contests, and recognition during various military tributes. Military personnel and veterans will also receive a 20% discount in the Suns Team Shop throughout the game.
