Spain ACB leader, Real Madrid, traveled to Bilbao on Sunday and came home with a solid 74:94 victory to improve their league-best record to 19-1. The loss drops Bilbao to 12-8 and is in a three-way tie for the No. 4 spot in the competition.

Madrid won all four quarters during the contest, after the first frame they had a four-point lead, 16:20. By the end of the half the guests were up by eight, 35:43. Early in the third Bilbao found their game and was able to pull to within three, 45:48, before Madrid when on a 9:21 scoring set to bring the score after three to 54:69. The guests were able to tack on five more in the fourth when they won the quarter 20:25 to wrap up scoring with a final of 74:9 and in the process, stayed two games ahead of No. 2 in the ACB, Caja Laboral at 17-3, who beat Valencia, 79:75 this week.
