Shareef O’Neal commits to Arizona

After much deliberation, Shareef O’Neal, the son of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, has committed to play for the University of Arizona. The 17-year-old O’Neal is an example of the fruit not falling far from the tree. While he does not have the size of his dad, Shareef has shown flashes of how his own game has branched out. He is very athletic and his basketball pedigree will merely be a launching pad for him to carve out his own name in the basketball landscape. Aside from Arizona, the other schools that were recruiting him were Kentucky, and LSU.
