San Antonio Spurs beat Fenerbahce

San Antonio Spurs needed Tim Duncan and Tony Parker to step up yesterday against Turkish Fenerbahce Ulker to avoid another loss during the European Tour. Tim Duncan had 23 points and Tony Parker added 22 to help the San Antonio Spurs come away with a 96-90 scare in a pre-season exhibition game in the Turkish capital Istanbul. Parker and Duncan each had seven rebounds and Parker also had seven assists for the defending NBA champion Spurs, coming off a 94-93 loss to Alba Berlin on Wednesday night in Germany. Manu Ginobili added 12 points and eight rebounds for San Antonio. Former College of Charleston guard Andrew Goudelock had 30 points for Fenerbahce Ulker.
