Robert Ferguson joins BG Karlsruhe

Robert Ferguson (203 cm, St. Joseph’s’08) has been added by BG Karlsruhe from Germany’s ProA. The 28-year-old Ferguson is moving from SC Rasta Vechta, also from the German ProA. Vechta finished the season as the league’s regular season champion and also ended up going all the way to win the 2013 German 2 Bundesliga ProA title.

In 2012-13 he averaged 5.8 ppg and 4.5 rpg for Vechta in 32 games. In 2011-12 he played 12 games for the Defensor Sporting Club from Uruguay’s LUB and posted averages of 11.5 ppg and 6.3 rpg. In December 2011 he moved to KR Reyjavik (Iceland-Express League). There he averaged 13.9 ppg and 7.9 rpg in 17 games.
