Rihards Kuksiks (197 cm, Arizona St. ’11) has been released by Lagun Aro GBC (Spain-ACB). While with Lagun he played in 15 games and averaged 5.5 points per game. Prior to that he suited up for Valencia Basket (Spain-ACB), averaging 2.4 points per game in 17 ACB contests and 6.7 points per game in 10 EuroCup games. In 2011 he completed his four years of collegiate eligibility with Arizona State where he played in 127 games and averaged 9.7 points per game. His junior year was his best, when he averaged 12.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 33 games. During the 2008-09 season he led the Pac-10 conference in three-point field goals with 93 and in three-point field goal percentage with 44.3% (he was 8th in the NCAA).

Kuksiks was also a member of the Latvia Cadet National Team in 2004, the U18 National Team in 2005-06, the U20 National Team in 2008, and the Senior National Team in 2010-12. In eight EuroBasket 2013 Qualifiers he averaged 12.1 points per game.
