Virtus Bologna (Italian League) has signed an agreement with Ricky Minard (US College: Morehead State) and will most likely announce it today (Aug. 28). Minard open the 2011-12 season with Azovmash Mariupol, but finished in Italy with Novipiu Casale. Minard was drafted by the Sacramento Kings as the 48th pock overall in the 2004 NBA draft, but was never signed. He started playing professional in Italy that season. He’s still holds the top spot on Morehead State’s career scoring leader list.
