Quinton Ross (198 cm, Southern Methodist University’03) has been given a one-month contract extension by Boulazac Basket Dordogne (France-ProA). Ross is on a temporary contract with Boulazac to replace the injured Amadi McKenzie (201 cm, Tennessee Tech’08). He’s been averaging 27.7 minutes per game and has contributed 8.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in those six games. Prior to his short-term deal with Boulazac Ross played for the Canton Charge in the NBA D-League for 10 games of the 2011-12 season, where he averaged 7.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Ross has extensive NBA experience having played from the 2004-05 season through the 2007-08 season with the Los Angeles Clippers, then played in 2008-09 with the Memphis Grizzlies, 2009-10 with the Dallas Mavericks, and the New Jersey Nets in 2010-11.
