Porto Rico too much for Nicaragua at 2012 Centrobasket

Puerto Rico overcame Nicaragua in Day 3 of the 2012 Centrobasket. The home side exploded with a 107:67 victory. Puerto Rico was the favorite of the game and proved their ambitions from the very beginning. They started with 23:18 and never looked behind after. Moreover they erupted with 34-13 in the second period to take 57:31 halftime advantage. Puerto Rico easily added 31-13 in the third period and had achieved the biggest lead by Santiago’s dunk at 97:48. The hosts did not have any difficulties to score three digits and ended up with 107 points.
