It is a tough blow for Regal FC Barcelona as they announce that Pete Mickeal (199 cm, Cincinnati’00) is done for the season due to the recurrence of a dangerous pulmonary embolism. The 35-year-old Mickeal also missed a big chunk of the 2010-11 season due to a similar blood clot, which was a complication following a different injury.

In the 2012-13 season, Mickeal played 23 games for FCB Regal in the Spanish league and averaged 10.1 ppg and 4.4 rpg. He also managed to log 20 games for the club in the Euroleague this season, averaging 11.4 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
