Pablo Banchero might be just 18, but he has already attracted a star-studded list of experienced athletes as fans. Banchero played his first game for the Blue Devils in the 2021-22 college basketball season. The freshman registered 22 points, seven rebounds, and two steals in the 79-71 win over Kentucky. His numbers suggest he will be a popular figure on Bongdalu, a top sports site recognized by Vwin for its news and score updates. At the moment, Banchero is regarded as one of the best prospects in the top 100 recruits for the 2022 NBA Draft.

Some respected sports journalists and pundits have claimed several attributes make Banchero an exceptional talent. For instance, they have observed that his ball-handling is out of this world. Moreover, they also acknowledge the fact that he can hit face-up jumpers from the top of the key as well as scoring around the basket.

Another observation the pundits have made is how Banchero effortlessly absorbs contact consistently. This ability allows him to get to the free-throw line regularly.

His exploits on the court have already attracted the attention of LeBron James. Fortunately, King James will have more opportunities to observe the freshman in big-time matchups. This month Banchero’s Blue Devils will host Gonzaga (No.1) before traveling to Ohio State (No. 17).

LeBron James posted on his Instagram story a photo from Banchero’s photoshoot, which he did with the SLAM Magazine. The youngster is trying his blue and white LeBron 11 sneakers. On the other hand, Banchero was overly excited with James’ post on Instagram.

Former NBA-All-Star Isaiah Thomas also acknowledged the youngster’s talent. He claimed in a Tweet that Washington is home to star-caliber hoopers like himself. He made these remarks to highlight the fact that Banchero was born and raised in Seattle.

Mike Bridges of Charlotte Hornets was the other NBA star who gave Banchero props. He made his remarks a few days after Banchero had tweeted how Bridges was “cold.” Bridges claimed in his tweet that “Paolo Banchero got game.”

Banchero spoke to SLAM magazine and was surprised how in less than 24 hours after his college debut, the assistant coach of Duke, Jon Scheyer, was wearing a shirt bearing a Banchero cover.
