Nikolaos Zisis joins Unics Kazan

NIkolaos Zisis (197 cm) is joining Unics Kazan from Russia’s PBL for the 2013-14 season. The Greek player played for Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket from Spain’s ACB in 2012-13. He played 17 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 10.0 ppg and 3.4 apg. Bilbao finished as a finalist in the Eurocup this 2013. In 34 games in the Spanish ACB he averaged 9.0 ppg and 3.5 apg.

In the 2011-12 season he played for Montepaschi Siena from Italy’s SerieA. He logged 20 games in the Euroleague for Siena and hit averages of 4.5 ppg and 1.7 rpg. In 42 games in the Italian league Zisis averaged 6.4 ppg and 2.7 apg.
