Nikola Cvetinovic heads to BdR Valladolid

Blancos de Rueda Valladolid from Spain’s Liga Endesa has acquired Serbian forward Nikola Cvetinovic (203 cm, Akron’12) for 2013-14. Nikola began the season with Petrolina AEK Larnaca from Cyprus’ Division A, but only up to the preseason. On October 2013 he signed with Czech Republic NBL team JBC MMCITE Brno. Cvetinovic was able to play in 15 games in the Czech Republic league before making the move to Spain. He posted solid averages of 18.5 ppg and 8.8 rpg during his brief run.

In 2012-13 he played his rookie season for Petrolina AEK Larnaca and averaged 4.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg. He helped them win the Cyprus League Championship in 2013.
