Niels Giffey from Berlin to Zalgiris

Niels Giffey (200 cm, F) has left ALBA Berlin. The 30-year-old German played for the German Champions for seven years. This season he averaged 8 ppg and 2.9 rebounds in EuroLeague play. Giffey has signed with EuroLeague opponent Zalgiris Kaunas.

Niels Giffey played college basketball at Connecticut where he averaged 8.4 ppg and 3.9 rebounds in 13/14, his senior year. He has played in Germany since then.
