Nenad Markovic stays with KAOD

After signing with KAO Dramas from Greece’s A1 this February 2013, Nenad Markovic will get an opportunity to build on what he started in the 2012-13 season. Markovic, who hails from Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be coaching KAOD this 2013-14 season. KAOD finished with an 11-15 record and Markovic will get to use his experience with the team to improve on that record.

Markovic coached Panionios ON Telecoms Athens from Greece (A1) for three seasons before joining KAOD, from 2007 to 2011. He is most noted for his work with the youth teams of Boznia and Herzegovina. He is the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 National Team in 2012 and 2013.  He won the European Championships of the U18 Division B in Sarajevo in 2012, snagging the gold medal for his home country.
