Nenad Krstic (212 cm) has announced his retirement from the Serbian National Men’s Basketball Team. The 31-year-old Krstic is a six-year veteran of the team, joining them in 2008. During Serbia’s silver-medal finish at the FIBA World Cup 2014, the big man averaged seven points per game as a reserve. At the European Championships held in Slovenia in 2013, Nenad had a bigger impact for the team, averaging 15.4 ppg and 4.8 rpg in 10 games.
Kristic will continue with his professional basketball career this 2014-15 with Turkish club Anadolu Efes (TBL). He signed with the team in June this year.
