NCAA: Marvin Bagley III commits to Duke

Marvin Bagley III NCAA – Duke University got a huge boost as far as its projections for bagging a national championship this 2017-18. The school landed 5-star prospect Marvin Bagley III (198 cm). The 18-year-old is currently in his third year at Sierra Canyon High School in California. He is, however, attempting to finish his school early and be reclassified for the class of 2017. Bagley was already projected as the top player in the class of 2018 and his potential early entry into Duke could instantly shift them as the favorites to land coach Mike Krzyzewski his sixth national title.

“He has the physique of a young prospect and naturally will need to become much stronger, but in other areas he plays far beyond his years. He’s extremely well-coordinated, fluid, quick, explosive and reasonably polished. A southpaw, he knocks down long jump shots, buries hooks on post-ups and handles well enough to attack off the dribble in either direction.” – Evan Daniels, Scout.com
